UnCommon – The Challenges of Isolated Space

On the 20th of February 2020 InCommon – The Possibilities of Collective Space, an architectural exhibition, opened at the University of Witwatersrand School of Architecture and Planning. Curated by FuturePart on behalf of Boogertman + Partners, the exhibition framed six critical areas for consideration when designing the public spaces of the future. One month later, on the 21st of March 2020, South Africa went into lockdown in a response to Covid19. UnCommon – The Challenges of Isolated Space is a reflective online discussion between the collaborators of the exhibition in response to the changed circumstances and how it would shift their view of the original six questions explored in the exhibition.

Lunch for 1 x 6  is an online dialogue platform that FuturePart will be publishing in association with the WITS School of Architecture and Planning during the period of the Covid19 lockdown in South Africa.
